Rajab al-Bursi al-Hilli drew inspiration for his creative texts from the language of the Holy Qur’an, its verses, and their meanings. He incorporated these elements into the structure of his poetic texts, enriching them semantically and giving rise to a highly concentrated poetic vision characterized by profound suggestive meanings. A close reading of his poetry reveals that intertextual references to the verses of the Holy Qur’an occupy a significant place in his poetic collection. Indeed, hardly any poem dedicated to Ahl al-Bayt is devoid of an intertextual relationship with the Qur’anic text.
