Abstract

This research represents a serious attempt to highlight a portion of the Quranic heritage of the distinguished scholars of Al-Hilla Al-Faiha. I have gathered the Hilla manuscripts that span both composition and copying in the field of Quranic studies. I have identified more than sixty authors from the sixth to the fifteenth century.
The research comprises three sections. In the first section, titled "Quranic Works of the Scholars of Al-Hilla," I list the notable figures among the authors of Quranic works, organized chronologically according to centuries. The second section is titled "The Efforts of Hilla Scribes in Quranic Sciences," where I examine the manuscripts written by prominent Hilla scholars. Finally, in the third section, "The Notable Reciters from Al-Hilla Al-Faiha," I discuss those individuals who distinguished themselves in the recitation of the Quran.
