الملخص

This research points out the importance of textual criticism, maintaining its rules, monitoring the text to avoid forgery and alteration, presenting the daunting task of the textual criticizer, showing the qualifications and skills which the textual criticizer needs to have to textually criticize the accuracy of the context, to master language, syntax and grammar, to master punctuation, to take precautions against altering the text, to put maximum efforts in writing footnotes and annotations, and to depend on authorized copies of the text based on their importance.
The book of (Odaat Al-Da’i Wa Najah Al-Sa’I / The tools of the invocator and the success of the inquirer) by Ibin Fahad Al-Hilli has been taken as a sample to show all the above mentioned points after pointing out its importance and unique style among the books of invocations that’s why a suitable textual criticism is made for.
