Abstract

Spoken-Hilla School got basic changes as a result of its influence on the investigator Nasir al-Din al-Tusi (D. 672 AH) and his students and companions in the seventh century AH. The science of common theology was mixed with the rules and foundations of Greek philosophy, and a modern philosophical theological trend emerged from among other scientific trends, and it lasted for several centuries.
The reactions that followed these changes are the subject of this research, which was based on historical reports and analysis, and on information about the scientific currents of the tenth and eleventh centuries, and concluded that multiple and different reactions were found to the speech innovations of Al-Hilah estate, the most important of which were initiated during Al-Najaf estate after al-Maqdis al-Ardabili (d. 99 AH) culminating in the time of Mohammed Amin Al-Estrabadi (A1023H).
Al-Istrabadi’s scientific efforts were based on confronting the innovations of Hillah estate on three branches: Hadith, jurisprudence and Theology. He strongly contradicted the theological philosophical method in deduction from theological research, explaining, proving and defending it, and criticized the mixing of theology with the rules and origins of Greek philosophy.
