Abstract

In this modest research, I dealt with aspects of the life of the scholar
Sheikh Ibn Matar Al-Asadi Al-Jaza'iri Al-Hilli (he was alive in the year
849 AH), and he was one of the students of the jurist Sheikh Ibn Fahd Al-
Hilli (d. 841 AH)I have tried, to the best of my mixed information, to show
his position and practical prominence in accordance with the blessed efforts
that have reached us, distributed between commentary, annotation,
ownership, and the benefits he wrote on the margins of written copies in
various sciences such as hadith, speech, jurisprudence, and the principles
of jurisprudence.
