Abstract

“The Looting Issue” was mentioned by Allamah al-Hilli in his book Qawaeid al-Ahkam” and it was explained by Radhi al-Din Abd al-Malik ibn Shams al-Din Ishaq ibn Fathan al-Qummi.
What is meant by plunder is the sanctity of pilfering the money of others. That if someone else’s money is plundered without the consent of its owner, then it is forbidden. Because he took money by usurpation and theft, and it is one of the most severe taboos, and the perpetrator is punished, and he is a guarantor of the looted money, and thus it appears that plundering respectable money without the owner’s consent to take or how to take it is forbidden.
It has been relied upon in achieving it in two copies; The first is located in the library of the Holy Shrine of Razavi, and the second is the library of the Shura Council, within a group of letters.
