The city of Al-Hilla stands as a prominent center in Islamic civilization, having been a hub of science, culture, and civilization in various periods of history. Its scholars played a leading role in shaping the Islamic scientific heritage.
One of the most significant contributions of the scholars of this flourishing city was their efforts in preserving, editing, and disseminating the modern heritage, particularly "Nahj al-Balagha" and "Sahifa Sajjadiyya," among other sources of Imami Shiite heritage. Al-Sadidi Al-Hilli is among the overlooked scholars for his efforts in the field of "Nahj al-Balagha," as his editing and transcription of Ibn al-Sakkun al-Hilli's version of "Nahj al-Balagha" stands out as one of the most important and finest contributions in this domain.
This research, using a descriptive-analytical approach, aims to study the efforts of this scholar and highlight his distinctive features in editing and transcribing "Nahj al-Balagha."
