Al-Alama Al-Hilli should be classified within the speech-philosophical intellectual system of the Shiites, according to which the issue of evil was analyzed. His philosophical and speech opinions were consistent in his various works within two areas: the definition of evil and its causes. Although his presentation of titles and his divisions of research related to this subject was purely verbal, the philosophical products and their explanations have not lacked a reflection of philosophical and Mu'tazilite views. As for the results obtained, they were based on verses and narrations, as well as the philosophical and Mu'tazilite vision. This study dealt with the various forms and structures of discussing the issue of evil in Allama Al-Hilli's writings and intended to shed light on his vision about it, leaving the reader to judge the problems and the results that have been reached.
