The book (Muthir Al-Ahzan) by Ibn Nama Al-Hilli is one of the books of the Maqtals of Imam Al-Hussein، returning to the seventh immigrant Century، which then left a great impact on the process of codification and reading the Maqtals. This research deals with the criticism of the influential narrations in Ibn Nama's statements، and to the deviations and narratives in which he is singled out in the book (Muthir Al-Ahzan) in an analytical critical manner.
The significance of this study of the book Muthir Al-Ahzan lies in the fact that it is the basis quoted by Shia scholars quoted during the centuries that followed. Despite the scientific and moral personality of Ibn Nama، which played an important role in the fame of his book، the information contained therein - according to what we have reached - either it is not commensurate with the Sunnah، mind، accepted facts، and historical narrations، or it is unacceptable and needs to be analyzed and studied according to accepted criteria.
