Abstract

This research deals with the sound repetition in the Divan of Sheikh al-Nahawi al-Hilli due to its importance. This is because repetition is a clear sound component in poetic discourse and an effective element of its changing rhythm، as it gives poetry its vocal tone and music. Not only is that important on the rhythmic side، but it goes beyond other connotations produced by repeated sounds. From the singular sound، how it is produced، outputs، descriptions and what a sound repeats can add by observing the rules and laws of those sounds and their characteristics and relationships with each other.
