Interpretation Resources on the Authority of Ibn Abbas (D. 68 AH) a Reading of his Narrations in Hilla Blog

Abstract

In this research, we try to show the interpretation resources that were received from Ibn Abbas in the exegetical narrations, and it figured out that they were five sources that he adopted, and the first of these resources in terms of the rank of health and honor is Qur’an, and then he mentions the reasons for the revelation, and the third resource is his adoption of the aphorism of the Prophet and Imam Ali Ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon them), and the fourth resource is language and poetry, and the fifth resource is the opinion and ijtihad, as he had his own opinions and considered as opinion of al-Sahabi, and after that there were sayings of scholars about Abdullah bin Abbas that removed what was attached to him of sayings and accusations, and we mentioned the books which was attributed to Ibn Abbas in the interpretation without going into its details in terms of negation and affirmation, and the last is the definition of the interpreters of Hilla who adopted the novels of Ibn Abbas in their exegetical blogs that the research dealt with.
