Abstract

Sayyid Haider ibn Ali al-Husseini al-Obeidli al-Amuli is one of the students of Fakhrul Muhaqiqin. He was a well-known scientist who has many works. His teacher held him dear as shown by the descriptions he had given him in his leave when he allowed him to speak, and answer (questions) on behalf of him. He benefited from the questions in the field of doctrine and religious jurisprudence and then he collected the answers of his teacher in a book, namely the al-Masaa'il.
Due to the virtue and wide knowledge of the asker and the responder, we opted to textually criticize and publish this book in order to preserve the Shiite heritage.
